"God wants to speak through us, to announce good news, not only through the strengths and gifts we each have, but through our willingness to endure weakness and suffering for the sake of building God's reign."

This was the message from the readings of today.  Fr. Jack points this out, I used to take communion to the elderly homebound in the community, mostly Avery Village.  All were unable to out, had aides come and tend to their needs, but to a person, in spite of their pains, prayed for other people.

When I think of my back, like now, and the pain, I think of those folks who prayed and gave thanks.

I have to pray and give thanks.  Amen
