  2. Two weeks from today a child is born, in a bed of hay, in a barn in a backwater town in Israel. This little boy would grow up to change the world forever. He never amounted to much, just a poor son of a carpenter, traveled the land, with followers, preaching about life, goodness and evil, teaching the Torah in a way that caused his death, he was a threat to the powerful. He spoke of love of His Father and love of your neighbor.

I guess Advent is to get us ready for this little kid, who we call Jesus.

  3. I would think with the decreased income from Friars departure, we would be in peril but especially the expectation from holy angels school contribution. Cardinal Cooke just shut it down and regionalized breaking many hearts. The Latin faithful have the passion, muscle but may not have the cash DRVC expects post bankruptcy
